DHAKA: RAB on Monday detained three persons for carrying fake passports and devices for faking passport from city’s Pirerbag area of Mirpur.

The detained are Aminur Mollah (27), Alam Sheikh and Dulal Mia (24), according to a press conference by RAB-2.

Assistant Director of RAB-2 Abu Khaled Al Mamun said the law enforcers raided a building of Pirerbag and caught them.

They recovered 54 Bangladeshi passports, 30 application forms, fake seal of 57 government officials, five seal pads, a computer, printer and scanner.

Aminul Mollah confessed that they renewed over 150 passports.
