NARAYANGANJ: Police recovered body of a woman from garbage tank at Rupsi Kahina area under Tarabo municipality in Rupganj upazila of the district on Monday.

The identity of the deceased couldn’t be known immediately while police earlier recovered bodies recently from that area later that were identified as kidnapped.

Confirming this matter to banglanews, Rupaganj Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Mafij Mallik said that police recovered the body on Monday noon after being informed by the locals whom were stinking bad smell in last couple of days.

The body has been sent to the Narayanganj Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy, he added.

SI told that it is supposed that she might be killed 20-25 days ago while it is quit tuff to suspect her age.
