DHAKA: Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Monday said the government issued ‘red alert’ across the country preventing drugs, including yaba tablets and drugs-related crimes.

The minister made the disclosure while addressing the cabinet committee on law-and-order at the ministry of Home Affairs on Monday evening.

He also said, “We have given instruction the concerned authorities to boost up security at the possible drugs routes including border area.”
