8-kg gold bars seized at Shahjalal

DHAKA: Customs intelligence officials seized eight-kilogram gold bars and held a man in this connection at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday night.                  

The arrestee is Mozahar Uddin, a passenger of a flight from Dubai.   

The incident took place around 7:45pm when the flight landed.            

Customs intelligence deputy director Mustafizur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
