CHUADANGA: Two people were killed in two separate incidents in Gobinda village under Damurhuda upazila and Hardi village of Alamdanga upazila of the district from Monday night to Tuesday morning. 

The deceased were identified as Abdus Samad, 35, son of Waliur Rahman, hailed from Durgapur village of the upazila, and Safiuddin, 34, son of Hares Uddin. 

Locals said that seeing the body of Abdus Samad in a field, farmers informed police. Later police recovered the body from the spot around 8:00am. 

Damurhurda Thana Officer-in-Charge Shikdar Mashiur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On the other hand, Safiuddin was killed by his nephews over land dispute in Hardi village under Alamdanga upazila on Monday night. 

Witnesses said that the victim’s relatives beat him discriminately; leaving him critically injured among five others.

Later, he died on the way of Kushtia General Hospital.
