DHAKA: An intern doctor was found dead at an apartment of Elephant Road in the city on Monday noon. 

The deceased was identified as Kazi Nowmi Shihab, 26, an intern physician of Bangladesh Medical College Hospital.   

On information, police recovered the body.  

New Market Police Station investigation officer Moniruzzaman said the body was recovered from Concord Imperial Tower around 1:00pm.  

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.  

An unnatural death (UD) case was filed in this connection, he added.
