FROM NARAYANGANJ: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia reached Narayanganj Tuesday to meet the families of the slain panel mayor Nazrul Islam and other six victims of sensational 7-killing.

Sources said that BNP Chairperson will visit the residence of Nazrul Islam around 11:00am to express condolence and sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Following the visit hundreds of leaders and activists of the BNP gathered in Sign Board of Narayanganj, Mijmij of Shiddhirganj and Jalkuri areas. 

Narayanganj BNP General Secretary ATM Kamal told banglanews that BNP Chairperson will visit first the residence of panel mayor Nazrul Islam at Siddhirganj Mijmiji. Then she will go to the residence of Advocate Chandan Sarkar at Jalkuri in Narayanganj.

Earlier on Monday, Narayanganj District BNP president Advocate Toimur Alam Khandakar in a press said that black flag will be hoisted and no other names or pictures without the name and picture of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman, Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Senior Vice Chairperson Tarique will be allowed.

Toimur also said, “We sought permission to Narayanganj City Corporation and District administration and failed, but avoiding all obstruction, we will hold rally soon.”
