DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her profound shock at the unfortunate death of few hundred of Turkish labour in a coal mine accident in Soma district in Turkey on Tuesday.                                                                         

The Bangladeshi premier conveyed sympathies and deep condolences to Turkey Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and to the bereaved families at this tragic accident and prayed to almighty Allah to give them the strength to withstand this immeasurable loss to their families on behalf of the people and Bangladesh government.             

The condolence message added that Bangladesh, in the spirit of the centuries-old traditional friendship between these two brotherly people’s, would remain ready to stand by the people of Turkey in this difficult moment with any assistance they might need.
