DHAKA:The hearing, on the progress report of investigation submitted by Administrative Probe Committee formed by the government as per the High Court order to look into in sensational Narayanganj seven-murder, will be held on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier in the morning, an HC bench of Justice M Rezaul Huq and Justice Gobinda Chandra Thakur fixed the time in response to a plea filed by state lawyers.
Deputy attorney general ASM Nazmul Huq moved for the state.
Earlier on Wednesday, probe body member Mizanur Rahman Khan, also deputy-secretary of Law Ministry, submitted the probe progress report at Attorney General Office.
On that time, the committee also sought four-week time for investigation.
On May 5, the High court ordered the government to form a seven-member probe committee headed by an additional secretary from Ministry of Public Administration to investigate the involvement of law enforcement in this incident.
