SIRAJGANJ: A postman was chopped to death by miscreants in Enayetpur under Chauhali Upazila of the district early Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Fazlur Rahman, 55, a postman of Daulatpur post office.

Local sources said that the victim went out of home on Friday night for local bazaar and remained missing. Noticing the chopped body lying on a field, locals informed police. Later, police recovered the body around 8:30am Sunday. 

Enayetpur Thana Officer-in-Charge Waheduzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
