DHAKA: The Anti Kidnapping Squad of Detective Branch (DB) of Police, in separate drives, held five kidnappers including a woman early Monday from the city and Sirajganj district.

DB Police sources said that the leader of the kidnapping gang Rejaul Karim was detained from Raipur upazila of Sirajganj then according to his statements, his four cohorts were held from different areas of the city.

The details about the matter will be disclosed in a press briefing around 12:00 noon.

Assistant Commissioner of DMP Media Cell Abu Yousuf said confirmed the matter to banglanews.
