SYLHET: The intern doctors of Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital attacked the nurses of the hospital early Monday. 

Sources said that intern doctor Jony locked into altercation with Proloy, a third year student of BSC Nursing department, around 12:30am centering giving treatment. 

Meanwhile, inter doctors beat up the nurse, leaving him critically injured.

Following the incident, intern doctors and nurses of the hospital came to confrontation. 

Later, Kotwali Thana Sub-Inspector Abdur Rakib rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. 

Confirming the matter Assistant Director of the hospital Tanmoy Bhattacharya said that tension mounting among the patients of the hospital apprehending halt of medical services.
