MUNSHIGANJ: A case was filed against launch owner and six others over tragic launch capsize that killed over 56 people, including children and women.

The accused are owner Anwar Hossain, launch staffs--Rafiqul Islam, Shamsuddin, Mintu, Shaheed, Dulal and Nurul Islam.

Sub-Inspector of Gazaria Thana Hyder Ali filed the case on Monday after five day of the tragic accident.

Officer-in-Charge of the Thana Abu Bakar Siddique confirmed the matter to banglanews. 

On May 15, a launch carrying over 200 passengers capsized in Meghna River and some 56 bodies were recovered in the accident.
