DHAKA: Crime Investigation Division (CID) of Police held a man with 50-kg explosives in Keraniganj Thana of the district on Tuesday.

The detainee is Swapan, 42.

Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Masudur Rahman said a team of CID detained the man from that area in the afternoon.

After getting details about these huge amounts of explosives, DMP will brief the press in the evening at their Media Center.
