SIRAJGANJ: Rail communications of northern region halted with the capital city Dhaka as the engine of Rajshahi-bound Dhumketu Express train went out of operation at Ullapara of the district on Thursday afternoon.

Sub-Inspector of GR Thana Hyder Ali said, “The engine went of operation after it knocked a three wheeler in the area.”

No one was reportedly hurt in the accident. On information, a rescue train was sent to spot, he added.
