4 Bangladeshis among 6 killed in KSA

JEDDAH: At least six people including four Bangladeshis were killed in a road accident in Al Lit area of Saudi Arabian city Makkah on Monday.

The deceased Bangladeshis were identified as Amanullah, son of Habib Ullah, Sheikh Harun, son of Abdul Khalek, Abdul Halim, son of Abdul Mazed and Yasin, son of Nur Hossain.

Sources said that then the accident took place in the area around 8:00pm while the victims were returning to their work station after completing passport related work at Jeddah’s Bangladesh Consulate, leaving six people dead.

Confirming the matter, Jeddah Consulate’s Councilor (labour) Mokammel Hossain said that the vehicle was carrying eight people including a Pakistani and a Saudi Arabian. 

The bodies of all victims but Yasin were kept at mortuary, he added.
