BRAMHANBARIA: Members of the Narcotic Department in a drive detained two drug dealers along with 5000 pieces of contraband Yaba tablet from Datiyara area of the district on Monday.

The arrestees are Bappi Miah, 26, and Abul Hasan Tipu, 28.

Inspector Md Humayan Kabir of Bramhanbaria Narcotic control department said that acting on tip-off they conducted a drive in the area at noon and arrested the duo along with the Yaba tablets.

Later, they were handed over to Sadar police.

A case will be filed against them in this connection, said Officer-in-Charge Md Abdur Rob of the Thana.
