DHAKA: Miscreants slaughtered a tea seller to death in Kafrul thana of the capital early Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Mizanur Rahman Mizan, 22, hailed from Kazi Char village of Muladi thana in Barisal.

Deceased’s uncle Delowar Hossain said to banglanews that Mizan went out to his tea stall from home at 2pm on Wednesday but didn’t return.

At the dawn of Thursday, locals saw the slit-throat body of Mizan in front of his house in Senpara Parbata area of Kafrul thana and informed police.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.

Aynul Haq, sub-inspector (SI) of Kafrul thana, confirming the matter said the body bore severe injury marks in its throat, left leg and right hand.
