DHAKA: The holy Shab-e-Barat will be observed on June 13 as the moon of the holy month of Shaban was not seen in country’s sky Thursday.

The National Moon Sighting Committee made the disclosure in the evening after sitting a meeting, Islamic Foundation sources said.

The meeting was held at the Islamic Foundation’s Baitul Mukarram conference room with Secretary of Religious Affairs Ministry and Vice-Chairman of the committee Chowdhury Babul Hasan in the chair.
