DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave Dhaka for China on Friday on a six-day official visit at the invitation of Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
A VVIP flight of Bangladesh Biman carrying Hasina will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport of the city at 7.30am on Friday.
Sources said, main objective of the visit is to discuses with the Chinese leadership on different issues to protect Bangladesh's interests at bilateral, regional and internationals forums, and strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries
Hasina will hold talks with her Chinese counterpart at Great Hall of People on June 9 and will sign a joint communique there.
A 70-member business delegation will give accompany the premier during the visit.
Hasina is scheduled to return home on June 11.
