DHAKA: Distinguished Fellow of Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Dr Debapriya Bhattacharya on Thursday said it is main challenge to make a balance between national income and expenditure in the budget for the fiscal year 2014-15. 

The economist came up with the observation in an immediate at his office at CPD after the budget session was placed before the parliament.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith, also ruling Awami League lawmaker, placed the budget in the afternoon.  

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was set 7.3 percent in the budget. He also termed the budget as ambitious but logical.

On the other hand, he showed his discontent over the personal investment policy.
