FARIDPUR: Detective Branch (DB) of police detained one of the main aides of key accused Nur Hossain in Narayanganj seven-murder from north channel area of the district early Friday.

The detainee is Mortuza Jamam Tartil, 45, son of Moshiur Rahman of Sadar upazila.

Faridpur DB police officer-on-charge Sunil Kumar confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said acting on tip off, a team of police picked up him from his father-in-law’s house north channel area of the district. 

The detainee has been kept at DB office, the OC added.
