DHAKA: Ahmed Hossain Khan, Director General of the Directorate General of Food has been sued for taking illegal financial advantages from consultant of a project funded by the World Bank. 

Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed the case with Shahbagh Thana on Monday.

Besides, managing director of consultancy farm Sthapati Sangshad Limited Mohiuddin Khan was also sued in the same case.

ACC deputy director Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier in a regular meeting of the anti graft body approved the case matter.

ACC sources said Ahmed Hossain Khan had taken financial advantages worth at TK 89,874 as plane fare for his wife and son during Dhaka-Bangkok tour from the Stapati Sangshad Ltd.
