Int’l Youth Leadership summit from June 11

DHAKA: The International Youth Leadership Summit 2014 is going to be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the city from Wednesday.

Following the programme, Youth Leadership center organized a press conference at national press club VIP lounge in the city on Monday.

Neal Walker, UN Resident Coordinator, Sara Cook, International Development Department Representative Youth and Ejaj Ahmed Leadership Center President attended in the conference.

Meanwhile, they said that the three-day long summit will be started from June 11 and will continue till June 13.

The Youth Leadership Summit 2014 will bring together 500 delegates and 50 speakers from around the world for 3 days of knowledge sharing, leadership training, and networking.

The Summit will feature a mix of plenaries and concurrent panels on democracy and citizenship, leadership, education and career, women and leadership, and social innovation interspersed with teambuilding activities and reflection sessions. 

Building on this platform, the delegates will build lasting relationships and understand existing challenges and opportunities for exercising leadership for the public good. At the end of the Summit, the delegates will collectively develop a communiqué outlining the needs and aspiration of young people.

Prime Minister’s Advisor Dr. Gowher Rizvi will inaugurate the summit on Wednesday.
