DHAKA:  A total of 116 fake freedom fighters’ gazette and certificates have recently been cancelled.

The government has taken the initiative to find out the guilty people from their workplaces as they were appointed earlier by the grace of the fake certificates.

Earlier, National Security of Intelligence (NSI) identified the fake freedom fighters. Later, following the investigation report, their certificates were declared invalid.

State Minister for Public Administration Begum Ismat Ara Sadek made the disclosure while addressing parliament in response to a question from lawmaker on Tuesday.
