DHAKA: Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain asked authorities concerned to regularize the job of the 372 staffs of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK), who were recruited temporarily in 1996.

He ordered it during a sudden visit to RAJUK Bhaban in the city around 10:30pm.

The minister said that RAJUK was given direction to take necessary steps to regularize the 372 staffs. 

Earlier in 1996, the then AL-led government appointed 372 staffs for RAJUK on temporary basis. But no successive governments took initiatives to regularize them.
