NETROKONA: Three people were killed as a truck rammed a motorcycle on Netrokona-Mymansingh highway near Nagra Ansar VDP office area on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Shipul, 18, son of Jasim, Farid, 20, sons of Shamsu Mian and Sani, 19, a 1st year BBA student of private Northern University, son of pourashava councilor Abdul Manna Khan Arju. All were hailed from Katli Mohalla in Nerokona pourashavbha.

The trio was critically injured in the road crash at 6:00pm. They were rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where doctors pronounced them dead at 8:00pm.

Following the accident, locals seized the truck, caught the driver and set the vehicle on fire.

Netrokona Model Thana Sub-Inspector Al Mamun confirmed the matter to banglanews.
