DHAKA: A minor was killed and another was injured in a road accident in city’s Rampura-Banasree residential area on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Mim Akter, 9, resident of the area.

Witnesses said that a human hauler ran over Mim while she was crossing road along with her sister Amena in the area at the noon, leaving them injured critically.

The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty doctor declared Mim dead.

In-charge of DMCH Police Outpost Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
