Riyadh: Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali will call on Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) secretary general Iyad Ameen Madani at the Kingdom of Saudi Arab (KSA) capital city Jeddah on Tuesday.

Ali is now staying the KSA to attend the 41st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the OIC.

Earlier, Ali landed on the King Abdulaziz International Airport on Monody at 8:00pm local time.

KSA foreign ministry undersecretary for protocol affairs Azam bin Abdul Karim Gain and Bangladesh ambassador to KSA Shahidul Islam received Ali at the Royal terminal of the airport.

Bangladesh embassy at Riyadh confirmed the matter to banglanews.

During the stay at KSA, Ali will join in a lunch on Tuesday. The Bangladesh Embassy arranged the lunch where OIC secretary general and high officials of the KSA will attend.

In the afternoon of the day, Ali will meet Madani at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah.

The minster will take part in the 41st CFM, to be held at Jeddah on Wednesday and Thursday.

A seven member delegation is gaveling company to Ali at the CFM.

The minster will leave for Dhaka on Thursday
