DHAKA: Bangladesh government advised its citizens in Iraq to remain alert and stay away from conflict zones for averting any untoward situations.
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was in regular communication with Bangladesh Embassy in Baghdad as well as the neighbouring Bangladesh Missions in Iran, Kuwait, Jordan and Turkey in order to ensure safety and security of Bangladesh nationals in Iraq.

The Government of Bangladesh will take all necessary measures for the well-being of Bangladesh nationals there.
