CHITTAGONG: Two persons, including a teenager, were electrocuted in Bayezid Thana and Patia Upazila of the port city on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Nazrul Islam, 20, son of a Sher Ahmed, resident of Kelishahar Adarsha Gram in Patia upazila and Abu Siddique, 16, son of a Jamal Uddin, hailed from Arefin Nagar Alif Colony of Bayezid Thana.

Locals told banglanews that Nazrul was electrocuted while starting a generator around 11:00am. 

Later he succumbed to his injuries on the way to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) in the noon.

CMCH ANSAR Camp in-charge Nayek Bashar confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Abu Siddique came in touch of electric wire that way on the ground at Arefin Nagar Alif Colony.
