DHAKA: President Abdul Hamid returned home on Sunday night after completing his 10-day visit to Bolivia and the USA.

A flight of Emirates Airlines carrying Hamid landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:55 pm. 

He was received by Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, the dean of the diplomatic corps in Bangladesh, the Cabinet Secretary, the chiefs of the three services and high civil and military officials received the President at the airport.

During his visit, Hamid joined in the ‘Group of 77 (G77) plus China Summit’ in Shanghai and met United Nations secretary general Ban-ki Moon.
