Nizami not produced before ICT

DHAKA: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami could not be produced before International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) due to illness Tuesday.

Deputy Jailer of Central jail Md lablu sent a letter to Registrar of the court in this regard 30 minutes prior to verdict saying Nizami fell sick suddenly early Tuesday and he can’t be produced before the court.

On Monday, ICT-1 fixed Tuesday for pronouncing verdict in war crimes case against Jamaat Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami.
