ISHWARDI (PABNA): Two workers died and another one fall sick after inhaling poisonous gas in a septic tank in Juktitala village under Ishwardi Upazila on Tuesday noon.

The deceased were identified as Pappu, 21, son of Abdur Rashid, and Jony, 24, son of Abdus Sattar.

Witnesses said that three workers entered into a septic tank to clean it and fall sick inhaling toxic gas, leaving Pappu dead on the spot.

Later, a fire service unit rushed to the spot and rescued Jony and Alam and sent to hospital but Jony died on the way of hospital.

Ishwardi Thana Officer-in-Charge Dhiman Kumar Das confirmed the matter to banglanews.
