PABNA: Two farmers died here as lightning struck them during heavy rainfall in Ishwardi on Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Abdur Rahman Mollah, 51, resided at Bayra village under Dashuria union and Abu Sayeed, 60, lived at Baghhasla village under Muladuli union of the upazila.

Deceased’s family sources told banglanews that lightning struck the farmers while they were working in the field at different place but in the same time, leaving them injured.

Later, they succumbed to their injuries while being taken to the home.
