KHAGRACHHARI: Two members of a family were burnt alive after a fire broke out in their house at Moratila area of Ultachhari union under Panchhari Upazila early Monday.

The deceased were identified as Shantirani Tripura, 48 and her niece Uttari Tripura, 12.

Confirming the matter, Panchhari Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdus Samad Morol told banglanews that the fire originated from a lamp in the house around 11:30pm leaving the victims burnt to death.
