CHITTAGONG: A readymade garment worker was killed in a road mishap as a city bus rammed her at Newmoring intersection in the port city on Tuesday morning. 

The deceased was identified as Jesmin Akter, 22, daughter of Sohag Khalifa hailed from Barisal.
 
Pangkaj Barua, ASI of Chittagong Medical College Hospital, quoting witnesses said that a rashly driven no-7 city bus knocked Jesmin down around 8:00am while she was passing the road.

She was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where on duty doctor declared her dead.
