2.8 kg gold seized in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Customs authorities seized 2.8kg gold ornaments worth Tk 80 lakh from Shah Amanat International Airport of Chittagong on Tuesday.

Assistant Commissioner Mashiur Rahman Mondol of the airport confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said that they recovered the jewelries around 9:30am searching a bag of passenger Monoara Begum whose flight came from Dubai around 8:00am.
