BRAHMANBARIA: Six people were killed in a road accident in Bertala area on Dhaka-Sylhet highway of Ashuganj upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Sources said a rashly driven truck crushed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the area on Dhaka-Sylhet highway around 3:00pm, leaving six people dead on the spot.
Sorail Highway Police Sergeant Abdur Nur confirmed the matter to banglanews.
