MYMENSINGH: Three people were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Meherbari area under Bhaluka Upazila of the district on Friday morning.

Of the deceased, one was identified as Monirul Islam, 25 and another one was yet to identify.

Local sources said that a Mymensing-bound truck collided head-on with another truck in the area around 5:00am, leaving the two dead on the spot and injured two others.

Later, the injured were sent to Bhaluka Upazila Health Complex.

Bhaluka Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the matter to banglanews.
