DHAKA: Land Management System is going to be digitized as per Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s order, says Minister of land Shamsur Rahman Sharif told.

The PM in this regard ordered the officials to start the implementation soon, he said reporters while emerging from the DCs Conference held at the Cabinet Room of the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

“Prime Minister asked to take necessary steps for land management digitalization aiming to ensure transparency and accountability,” land minister added.

He said that the PM wanted updating land records and making them available online for the people.

After a session regarding land issue on the midday of 3-day DC’s annual conference, Minister of land Shamsur Rahman Sharif informed journalists about Prime Minister’s order.
