CHITTAGONG: Three people were killed and three more injured in road accident in Saltgola area under port thana of the port city on Friday morning.

Of the decreased, two were identified as Fatema Begum and Chhabir Uddin, passengers of the human hauler.

Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost Naik M Jahangir told banglanews that a human hauler collided head-on with a lorry in the area around 8:30am, leaving six injured critically.

The injured were rushed to CMCH where duty doctor pronounced three of them dead.
