MYMENSINGH: Two teenage girls were killed in a road accident in Shoshi area under Iswarganj upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Sharmin and Swarna. Their age was about 14. 

Witnesses said the girls were waiting for auto-rickshaw on a road in the area at about 4:15am. At one stage, a rashly driven bus ran over them, leaving Swarna dead on the spot and Sharmin critically injured.

Fatally injured Sharmin succumbed to her injuries on way to hospital.

Iswarganj Thana Sub-Inspector Faruk Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.
