DHAKA: The verdict of a case against drug company Adflame for its alleged involvement in producing adulterated paracetamol would be delivered on July 22.

Drug Court Judge Abdur Rashid re-fixed the date as verdict of the case was not complete to deliver scheduled on Thursday.       

Drug administration department filed the case against Adflame on January 2, 1993 with the Dhaka Drug Court. 

Judge of the judge court fixed July 17 seven days ago to pronounce the verdict after 21 years of case filing.     

Around 76 children were killed during 1990s by taking adulterated paracetamol syrup with industrial toxic chemicals by manufacturer Adflame.
