DHAKA: Two hundred and ninety BCS administration cadres have been posted as assistant commissioners (trainee).

A gazette notification from public administration ministry’s field administration-1 said on Thursday.

The trainee assistant commissioners are empowered with executive magistracy.

They are ordered to join on August 7.

Earlier on July 10, government gave final approval to 8,105 persons following the Public Service Commission (PSC) recommendation on 33rd BCS examinations.

Among them, 6,033 persons are posted in health cadre and 2,072 in general cadre.

The final result of 33rd BCS examinations was published on November 21.
