BENAPOLE, JESSORE: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel detained 27 Bangladeshi people from Putkhali frontier of Benapole in the district on Friday morning.
Of the detainees, ten were identified. They are- Nishi Begum, 25, Eva Mandal, 17, Banna Mandal, 19, Ritika Biswas, 2, Chadni, 18, Anika Biswas, 45, Gita Rani, 50, Jatika Biswas, 6, Anik Krishna Majumdar, 50 and Shila Roy, 52.
They were hailed from Jessore, Norail, Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat and Jhenidah districts.
Beanpole Port Thana Sub-Inspector Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
