DHAKA: Three people were caught red handed with 1280 pieces of Yaba tablets from capital’s Dakhinkhan area early Saturday.

The detainees are Omar Faruk Sheikh, 32, Jahangir Alam 26, and Rakesh Mukherjee, 20.

On Saturday morning, Akram Hossein, Assistant Commissioner, ASP of Rab-1 confirmed the matter to banglanews and said on secret information, police raided the area 1:30am and caught the people red handed.

The law enforcers, however, sized more than TK 2.78 lakh from their possession received from Yaba trading.
