DHAKA: The advance ticket sale of Bangladesh railway ahead of holy Eid-ul-Fitr has been started from Sunday morning.

Twenty counters of Kamalapur railway station has started advance ticket sale at a time from 9:00am.

Thousands passengers have thronged Kamalapur station from midnight to collect advance ticket of Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Khulna including all important routes.

Today passengers will get advance ticket of July 24.

Abdul Mazid, officer-in-charge of Dhaka GRP police, said they took adequate measures to sell the tickets properly and fairly.
