DHAKA: Like every year, people in various parts of the country are celebrating Eid-Al-Fitr in line with Saudi Arabia, the land where Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) born.

Special, staff and district correspondents of banglanews have sent the reports of eid prayers from various areas of the country.

Chittagong: At least 2,000 inhabitants of 30 villages from seven upazilas of south Chittagong are observing the Eid-Al-Fitr on Monday.

Besides, people from five villages of Sitakundu upazila also are observing the holy eid after completion of one month’s ceremonial fasting.

All the people who are observing eid synchronizing Saudi Arabia are followers of Mirzarkhil Darbar Sharif and Silsilia Alia Zahngir Pir of Satkania and Shahsufi Darbar Sharif of Chandnais upazila.

Rajshahi: Some 300 inhabitants, who are followers of Sadra Darbar Sharif, of Askarpur, Thanapara and Gourshohor villages of Charghat upazila of the district are observing the Eid-Al-Fitr on Monday.

Rest of the inhabitants of those three villages will observe eid following the Bangladesh time.

Bhola: Some 7,000 inhabitants of 12 villages of the district have been observing eid today.

They all are followers of Sureswari and Satkania Pir Darbar Sharif.

Narayanganj: A few hundred people of the district sadar said their Eid-Al-Fitr prayer on Monday following Saudi Arabia.

Magura: A few devotees said their Eid prayer at Stadium Para area of the district sadar in the morning.

Jhenidah: Inhabitants of seven villages of Harinakundu upazila of the district have been observing the holy Eid-Al-Fitr coordinating with the Saudi Arabian standard time.

Moulvibazar: Around hundred devotees said their eid prayer at circuit house area around 6:30am Monday.

They have been observing the Eid in line with the Saudi Arabian standard time since 2008.
