DHAKA: No Bangladeshi peacekeepers have been affected by recently alarming Ebola Virus.

An ISPR (Inter Services Public Relations) press release on Monday said all the United Nation peacekeepers, including Bangladeshis, are out of Ebola Virus infection since its outbreak in West Africa.

However, the UN has been undertaking proactive preventive measures at all levels, the release added.

The news release said Ebola does not spread merely by proximity.

ISPR informed media that Bangladesh Armed Forces is closely monitoring the situation and maintaining constant contact with all concerned, including the UN Headquarters.
